Dear FSPAC Supporters,
We are excited to share truly historic news for the fraternity and sorority community—and a powerful reminder of why your support matters.
Jud Horras, President & CEO of the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) and a proud FSPAC Board Member, has been invited to serve as a witness before the House Education and Workforce Committee’s Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development this Wednesday at 10:15 AM ET.
This hearing will focus on First Amendment rights on college campuses, and Jud is expected to be a leading voice on freedom of association—standing alongside other witnesses addressing freedom of speech and religion. His testimony will highlight the real challenges young men face today and the critical role fraternities play in developing leadership, accountability, and belonging.
Notably, this appears to be the first time since 1939 that a leader of an NIC/NPC fraternity/sorority has testified before Congress—an extraordinary milestone for our movement.
Jud will also use this platform to urge Congress to advance the Freedom of Association in Higher Education Act, legislation passed by the House in 2024 that would:
► Protect the rights of single-sex student organizations
► Prevent universities from penalizing students solely based on membership
► Address concerning practices such as mass suspensions, lack of due process, and restrictive recruitment policies
This is a defining moment—and it is happening because of sustained advocacy and support from donors like you.

Now, we need to be just as direct with you.
FSPAC is currently experiencing one of the lowest fundraising periods in our 21 year history. At the very moment our influence and momentum are growing on Capitol Hill, our financial resources are not keeping pace. That gap puts this progress—and our ability to defend and advance the fraternity and sorority experience—at real risk.
We need your help, and we need it quickly.
If you have been considering a gift, please make it today at www.fspac.org/donate. If you have already given, we ask you to consider an additional contribution or help us identify others who can step forward. Every dollar right now directly fuels efforts like this—ensuring our voice is heard, our rights are protected, and our students continue to benefit from the lifelong impact of Greek-letter organizations.
Together, we can meet this moment—but only if we act with urgency.
Thank you for standing with us.
With gratitude,
Steve Blair
