My experience with the Fraternity Sorority Political Action Committee was incredibly impactful. It opened my eyes to the importance of engaging in the policy-making process at every level of government. Advocating for bipartisan legislation in 2014 alongside fellow student leaders inspired me to stay involved beyond that trip to Capitol Hill.
I had the opportunity to serve on the Fraternity Sorority Political Action Committee Board in 2014 – 2015 and return for another Fraternal Government Relations Coalition lobby day in 2015, reinforcing my commitment to civic engagement.

After my time with FSPAC, I brought that passion home, getting involved in my local community. Now in my ninth year on the Yorba Linda City Council, I became Mayor in 2019 at just 25, making history as the youngest female mayor in California and the youngest for a city of our size in the United States.
My journey started with organizations like FSPAC, which empower young leaders to understand that the decisions made today will shape our future. FSPAC continues to play a critical role in showing the next generation why public policy matters.
I am grateful for their work and encourage all fraternity and sorority members to stay engaged because when we are involved, we can make a difference.
